Ear Up

Privacy Policy

Effective August 16, 2026

Ear Up is built to work entirely on your device. This policy explains, plainly, what that means.

What we collect

Nothing. Ear Up does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to us or to any third party. The app has no analytics, no advertising, no tracking SDKs, and makes no network requests of its own.

What stays on your device

Your practice history, level progress, and app settings (such as instrument and sound effect preferences) are stored locally on your device using standard iOS storage (UserDefaults and the app's local Application Support folder). This data never leaves your device and is not visible to us. Deleting the app, or using Reset All Data in Settings, permanently erases it.

Purchases

In-app purchases and subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple's StoreKit. Ear Up never sees or stores your payment information — that's processed directly between you and Apple, governed by Apple's own privacy policy.

Accounts

Ear Up does not require or offer any sign-in, account creation, or profile. There is nothing to link your usage to your identity.

Children's privacy

Because Ear Up collects no data from anyone, it collects no data from children either. The app is safe for users of any age from a privacy standpoint.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future version of the app adds a feature that collects data — this page will be updated and the effective date above will change accordingly.
